Students "learn in context" with practice-based simulations and real world law experiences. Externships, clinical labs, practicums, and mandatory pro bono, allow students to apply knowledge to a range of community legal problems. Our academic support program bolsters student learning.

- Special programs offered to J.D. students Third-year students may represent clients in one of 6 clinics, developing practical lawyering skills such as trial advocacy, interviewing, counseling, negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, and legal drafting. Judicial internships place students with trial and appellate judges. The School of Law offers a summer abroad program on Transnational Dispute Resolution at Gray's Inn in London.
