The admissions procedure includes program-specific wittten Placement
Tests and evaluations by appointment with
instructional staff. Depending on their knowledge
and ability, some students are required to attend
prepatory classes before beginning the curriculum
program. Classes are designed for students whose
knowledge of the essentials of their program of
study is missing elements key to their success.
Prepatory classes are offered free of charge during
the three week prior to the start of each quarter,
if required. Admissions requirements and procedures
are readily available in recruiting materials and on
AIM's web site. The requirements listed include
clearly defined guidelines if what is required of
each student who wishes to be admitted, such as
proof of high school graduation or equivalency,
evaluation if sufficient proficiency to begin the
program of study, completed entrance exam, completed
application and the $100 application fee.
