- Admission is open to all students. Please contact the institution for detail.
- The Continuing Education
Department at the GACTC has an open admission
policy. There are criteria that are required to get
into the postsecondary program at the GACTC. To
begin, applicants must possess either a high school
diploma or G.E.D. Students who have been out of high
school for more than two years must take the Test
for Adult Basic Education (TABE) prior to admission.
If a student has prior college experience,
transcripts will be looked at in place of taking the
TABE. All postsecondary students are required to
obtain a Criminal Record History report (either
through the Pennsylvania State Police or the FBI). A
criminal conviction is not an automatic denial of
admission. Also, all postsecondary students are
required to get a PA Child Abuse Clearance.
